With the start of a new year and the university’s continued efforts to actualize the 2030 strategic plan, university administration is focusing on the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) and operational improvements.
The OIT team, currently a shared system with the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, supports our campus’ diverse infrastructure and processes, which we rely upon daily. To address this, the university is building a team to focus on the academic and instructional areas of this campus, and has enlisted the expertise of CU Denver Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Douglas Sicker.
At the CU Denver College of Engineering, Design and Computing, we focus on providing our students with a comprehensive engineering education at the undergraduate, graduate and professional level. Faculty conduct research that spans our five disciplines of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, bioengineering, and computer science and engineering. The college collaborates with industry from around the state; our laboratories and research opportunities give students the hands-on experience they need to excel in the professional world.
