This past week, undergraduates in the Department of Bioengineering met faculty members, Dr. Richard Weir and Dr. Kendall Hunter during the new Bioengineering Undergraduate Lunch and Learn Series. The four-part Undergraduate event was designed to provide pre-bioengineers a snapshot of the exciting research opportunities at the Anschutz Medical Campus and to further spark their interest in the field. Students not only had a chance to hear about recent developments in Dr. Weir and Dr. Hunter’s labs but they spoke with the faculty about their academic journeys and what brought them to Bioengineering at CU Denver. Dr. Cathy Bodine and Dr. Richard Benninger will visit with students later this month.
