In memoriam: David Hubly

Hubly-PhotoDavid Hubly, professor emeritus and former interim dean, passed away on April 16, 2020, at his home in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.

Hubly served as civil engineering faculty for more than 25 years. He taught multiple courses, served as department chair in the early 90s, and was named interim dean in 2001 between Peter Jenkins and Ren Su. Hubly is remembered fondly by those who worked with him. Professor Kevin Rens recalls sailing with him–a fellow Iowa State alum–in Vail and on Lake Dillon.
