Civil engineering lecturer Peter Marxhausen was named a 2021 Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Fellow by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The SEI Fellow designation recognizes accomplished SEI members as leaders and mentors in the structural engineering profession.  

Marxhausen teaches the civil engineering capstone design course, as well as timber design and introduction to civil engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer specializing in the field of engineering forensics on structural, civil, geotechnical, and plumbing engineering systems.
